In 1978, Joe Cario founded the band Quick Decision in Newark, NJ, playing several shows a week throughout the tri-state area. The band then took a hiatus from touring to focus on recording original music, eventually earning a finalist spot in New York City's Hometown Album competition in 1979.

Quick Decision was resurrected in 2010 when Joe partnered with his nephew Jon D'Alessandro, together performing original and cover music at venues throughout North Jersey. The duo taps into the old 70's repertoire, performing acoustic renditions of Classic Rock hits and sing-alongs. They also draw from the new generation, pulling contemporary songs and other unique covers into the mix to cater to a wider audience.
